$125 for 60 minute Follow-Up Treatment sessions and $75 for 30 minute Follow-Up Treatment sessions

DIRECT ACCESS TO PHYSICAL THERAPY
You have Direct Access to physical therapy in the state of Ohio. You are not required to have a referral or prescription from a physician to be evaluated or treated by a physical therapist.
However, if you plan to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, you may be required to have a referral. Please check with your personal insurance carrier for details.
***Cornell Physical Therapy is not a Medicare Provider, so law prevents us from treating Medicare patients for what would be considered “normally covered services.” If you are a Medicare beneficiary and would like to know if you can receive treatment at our clinic, please contact to discuss your options.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST SESSION
You and Andrea will discuss all areas of pain and go through your history of injuries or symptoms. She wants to hear about all areas that give you trouble (everything is connected). We are not limited to only treating one area because we are not bound by insurance restrictions. She will then perform a thorough evaluation of your strength, range of motion, tender areas, movement patterns and specific activities that cause you pain.
Exercises/stretches will be recommended and you will likely perform one set of the exercises during the session so that you feel comfortable performing them on your own at home.
The rest of the session will be for treatment that you cannot do on your own. Andrea does not believe in wasting your time/money on doing exercises that you can do at home or the gym.
Dry needling is included in your first session, as your response to the treatment gives valuable information into the cause of your symptoms.
